CutType ("the service") is provided by CutType.com. By using the service you enter into an agreement with CutType.com and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

1. The service

CutType is a browser-based editor for designing vinyl decal lettering and exporting PDF, SVG and DXF cut files with vector outlines. You must be of legal age in your country, or have authority to bind the organisation you represent, to use it.

2. Acceptable use

• No unlawful use, fraud, or spam.
• No infringement of trademarks, copyright or font licences belonging to others.
• No interference with the security of the service — malware, probing, scraping or circumventing limits.
• No reverse engineering, resale or redistribution of the service itself.

You are responsible for the text and artwork you create and for holding the rights needed to use any typeface, logo or wording you cut, sell or distribute.

3. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the service, its software, interface and branding. You keep the rights to the designs you create. Fonts offered in the picker are supplied under their own open licences and remain the property of their respective authors.

4. Service level

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported files will suit every cutting machine. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Always test-cut before production runs.

5. Payments, donations and subscriptions

Donations and any paid orders are processed by Stripe, Inc. through Lovable's built-in Stripe integration. CutType.com is the seller of record. Stripe handles payment processing, tax calculation and collection, receipts, refunds and related customer service inquiries. Payment, billing and refund mechanics are governed by Stripe's End User Terms. Donations are voluntary, made in USD, and do not create an entitlement to any feature or service level.

Monthly donations are recurring subscriptions charged in USD every month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the manage donation page using the email address on your receipt; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further charges are made.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time; your designs live in your browser and remain yours to export.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, wasted material, or lost data. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Indemnity

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post the revised date above.
